The theoretical subatomic physics group at Chalmers University of 
Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden has an opening forapostdoctoral 
researcher position in low-energy nuclear theory.

The postdoctoral project will focus on fundamental science questions in 
theoretical nuclear physics. More specifically, we will use ab initio 
nuclear-structure theory and a modern understanding of the nuclear 
interaction grounded in effective field theory to model subatomic 
processes with quantified theoretical uncertainties. The project will 
involve the development of state-of-the-art research methods that 
involve quantum many-body theory, effective field theory, computational 
physics, and advanced statistical methods.
