Dear colleague 

This is the second announcement of the 27th IUPAP Conference on
Statistical Physics, StatPhys27, which will be held in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, on July 8-12, 2019. 

The organization of the conference has advanced at a steady pace. We now
have the full list of plenary and invited speakers and of topic
committee members. We also have information on several satellite
meetings that are being organized before or after StatPhys27 and on the
various important dates for the conference.  

We also inform you that the call for nominations for the Boltzmann Medal
Award and for the Young Scientist Prize in Statistical Physics is now
open (through October 31st and December 30th, respectively). All
relevant information on how to nominate candidates for these prestigious
awards is included in the conference webpage. 

Most importantly, we are about to enable a "super early registration" at
a reduced fee (to be paid by December 12th, 2018).
