Hi,

I would like to draw your attention to a set or permanent
CNRS researcher positions on science and data science (AI but
not only)

They are visible on

note that the application deadline is <span style="margin:

Some more details on these positions (but please look in
details to information on cid55 site) :

- there are 4 junior permanent positions "chargé de
recherche", one is experimental LHC HEP at Toulouse, one is
chemistry the other two are "blank" meaning any science and
data science expertise

- this is typically for PhD + a few years (a few could be
zero for a particularly brillant candidate)

- the recruitment is done by the Interdisciplinary Commission
55 Sciences and Data ("cid55" in short), with genuine data
scientists, and other scientist (HEP, Astro, chemistry, Social
science...) with data science expertise

- there are 5 senior scientist permanent positions
"directeur de recherche". Most are really to promote current
chargé de recherche, but 1 could go to an external candidate
(typically PhD + ~10 years or more) with a particularly
brillant CVs

- there are also regular HEP positions at CNRS (01/X). Although
it is certainly possible to apply to both, it is recommended to
taylor the application to each type of position

- it is expected similar positions to open every year in
December

Best regards
