<p>La Red de Seguridad Alimentaria (RSA) del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) es una unidad de referencia diseñada para contribuir en la resolución de los temas prioritarios para el país en Seguridad Alimentaria. Desarrolla y analiza información, con fundamento científico tecnológico, para que las autoridades responsables puedan definir políticas de gestión y el sector productivo desarrollarse armónicamente dentro de las recomendaciones establecidas.</p>

<p>El <strong>martes 29 de noviembre de 13:30 a 17:30 hs</strong> se realizará el <strong>evento anual de la Red en el Centro Cultural de la Ciencia (C3)</strong> del Polo Científico Tecnológico de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, con el <strong>objetivo de presentar los casos en los que vienen trabajando los distintos grupos ad hoc de la RSA, generar un ámbito de intercambio entre la ciencia y la gestión, y visualizar los logros alcanzados durante sus siete años de historia.</strong></p>

<p>En la jornada se debatirán temas relacionados con la incorporación de nuevos alimentos: polvo de insectos y bagazo cervecero. A su vez, se realizará un bloque sobre contaminantes químicos y biológicos: cadmio y plomo en yerba mate, cadmio en harina de pescado, efluentes humanos y polvo de carbón. Finalmente habrá un panel sobre medio ambiente y producción sostenible: carne sustentable y protocolo de mortandad masiva de peces.</p>

<p>La RSA promueve la interacción del CONICET y otros organismos científicos con instituciones nacionales e internacionales que actúen en materia de seguridad alimentaria. Esta Red brinda asistencia técnica, recomendaciones científicas independientes e información sobre riesgos existentes y emergentes a toda la cadena agroalimentaria para evaluar y fundamentar los temas prioritarios para el país.</p>
