<p>El evento es organizado por el <strong>Programa Nacional de Ciencia y Justicia del CONICET</strong> con la Junta Federal de Cortes y Superiores Tribunales de Justicia de las Provincias Argentinas y Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (Ju.Fe.Jus.), la Junta de Tribunales Orales Federales de la República Argentina (JUTOF), la Red de Escuelas de Capacitación Judicial (Reflejar) y el Consejo de Procuradores, Fiscales, Defensores y Asesores Generales de la República Argentina. Tendrá lugar los días <strong>martes 15 (de 9 a 18 hs.)</strong> y <strong>miércoles 16 de noviembre (de 9 a 12 hs.)</strong> en el <strong>Centro Cultural de la Ciencia</strong> ubicado en Godoy Cruz 2270 (Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires).</p>

<p>El objetivo del encuentro es presentar y trabajar junto a fiscales, jueces/juezas, defensores/as y operadores/as de la justicia sobre las <strong>capacidades técnicas y servicios que tiene el CONICET para aportar en el esclarecimiento de causas judiciales ambientales.</strong> Asimismo se invita a participar a toda la comunidad científica y académica, estudiantes y toda aquella persona interesada en la temática.</p>

<p>La propuesta surge en torno a la crisis climática y la premisa acerca de que los poderes judiciales nacionales, provinciales e instituciones de seguridad, son actores esenciales para avanzar en la protección del ambiente a nivel regional e internacional y que, en la actualidad, enfrentan ciertos desafíos y dificultades.</p>

<p>En el primer día del encuentro se podrá acceder a un panel plenario (dirigido al público en general) y mesas de debate (destinadas a grupos específicos de la justicia), en cada espacio se presentarán los diferentes aportes que se pueden hacer desde la ciencia. El segundo día se destinará a las conclusiones y próximos desafíos en materia de Ambiente, Ciencia y Justicia que surjan de las mesas de trabajo.</p>
