<p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">El proyecto plantea el estudio de materiales en los que la baja dimensión puede disparar propiedades particulares con características distintas a las que se pueden encontrar en  volumen. En particular, los materiales ferroeléctricos bidimensionales (FE-2D), como films ultra-delgados o materiales laminares de tipo van der Waals, muestran un gran potencial para ser utilizados en dispositivos electrónicos y optoelectrónicos, dada su posible miniaturización e integración a heteroestructuras con distintas funcionalidades.</span></p>
