<div><span style="color: #1d2228; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Los agujeros negros son los objetos más intrigantes del universo. Astros silentes de masas enormes, son fuente de los campos gravitacionales más intensos que existen. Es ese mismo campo lo que sume a estos astros en la más absoluta oscuridad, y es el mismo que llega a detener el tiempo en su superficie. En los últimos años, hemos logrado avances notables en la empresa de observar los agujeros negros, una empresa que no es sino la realización de lo imposible: ver lo invisible. Hoy sabemos con certeza que los agujeros negros existen. En el centro de nuestra galaxia, por ejemplo, existe un agujero negro supermasivo. En esta charla, voy a contar qué son los agujeros negros, cómo es la estructura del espacio y del tiempo en sus inmediaciones, y qué evidencia de su existencia hemos visto hasta la fecha.</span></div>
