<p style="margin-bottom: 0.11in; line-height: 14.04px; direction: ltr;" align="justify"><span>Los sistemas blandos permean nuestra vida cotidiana (alimentos, productos cosméticos, productos de limpieza) así como un sinnúmero de aplicaciones tecnológicas cada vez más sofisticadas (delívery tópico de medicamentos, captura y retención de contaminantes, separación y filtrado de efluentes, etc.).</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0.11in; line-height: 14.04px; direction: ltr;" align="justify"><span>Un delicado balance entre entropía y entalpía hace que estos sistemas sean marginalmente estables y definen su marcada tendencia a experimentar profundos cambios estructurales y mecánicos ante pequeños cambios en las variables intensivas del sistema. El conocimiento detallado de la física que subyace a esta estabilidad es crucial para controlar sus propiedades.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0.11in; line-height: 14.04px; direction: ltr;" align="justify"><span>En este seminario presentaremos algunas de las más recientes líneas de investigación del Laboratorio de Materia Blanda del INIFTA así como las herramientas con las que contamos. En particular, nos detendremos con algún detalle en algunas aplicaciones concretas y haremos foco en forma específica en el estudio en la relación entre la mesoestructura y la función de sistemas basados en geles.</span></p>
