<p style="text-align: justify; margin: 10px 0; padding: 0; color: #202020; font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 16px; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: open sans,helvetica neue,helvetica,arial,sans-serif;">GeoVin es una aplicación para celulares desarrollada por investigadores del CONICET con el objetivo de determinar la distribución geográfica de las distintas especies de vinchucas y prevenir su proliferación.<br /> GeoVin fue presentada en las últimas horas en el 10º Congreso Argentino de Entomología en Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, y ya cuenta con el aval de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS). Es la segunda app basada en el concepto de ciencia ciudadana que impulsa el CEPAVE, luego de la reciente experiencia de ¿Es araña o escorpión?. El desarrollo estuvo a cargo de Joaquín Cochero, investigador asistente del CONICET en el Instituto de Limnología "Dr. Raúl A. Ringuelet" de La Plata (ILPLA, CONICET – UNLP), mentor de otras dos propuestas digitales: AppEAR y Caza Mosquitos<br /> Con la idea de generar una base de datos actualizada sobre la distribución geográfica de las vinchucas y prevenir su proliferación, los profesionales del CEPAVE dieron origen a <a style="color: #2baadf; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.geovin.com.ar%2F&h=ATMVTqUZCOzFdoMxpLm3HnMHZIbzvvdnN_cW2f4zMHbvUfogtFhwtw0Ib52K7TThweUchDFZFsSHbopU2_9BNWu5w-_kZ4h-AdcZyGFfpDCcrHJCiU4" rel="noopener nofollow">GeoVin</a>, una<a style="color: #2baadf; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fplay.google.com%2Fstore%2Fapps%2Fdetails%3Fid%3Dcepave.geovin&h=ATPDuz645bhKXJt3-Sa_TyiRTOj-iJmKSDJSOxlo2XLdgohVOFr-Nee8l9IQk1X4LmgStXsDYtlRWJfzz1EPnCjz--xOjDOUOGIw1gY7mwY-YPTdHUA" rel="noopener nofollow"> app que ya se encuentra disponible para su descarga en las tiendas de aplicaciones digitales</a> para dispositivos con sistema operativo Android y que se configura como un proyecto de ciencia ciudadana, es decir una iniciativa en la que los científicos y el público no especializado trabajan conjuntamente con un objetivo común.<br /> Quienes descarguen la app podrán acceder a un mapa de datos que ya cuenta con casi 10 mil puntos del país donde alguna vez se encontraron especies de vinchucas, que fue elaborado en el marco de la tesis doctoral de Soledad Ceccarelli, becaria del CONICET en el CEPAVE. "La información que circulaba estaba incompleta o poco sistematizada, y lo que hice fue recopilar datos de publicaciones científicas, tesis doctorales, informes, y el propio trabajo de campo que hacemos desde el laboratorio, más el aporte voluntario de algunos colegas para armar la base de GeoVin", cuenta la experta.</span></span><br /> </p>
