Desde la Dirección de Educación a Distancia y Tecnologías se trabaja en forma conjunta con las Unidades Académicas de la UNLP que desarrollan propuestas a distancia o que median con tecnologías, que cuentan con la forma de articulación con Escuela Media, pre-ingreso y/o de ingreso a distancia o bi-modales. Los futuros ingresantes a la Universidad podrán transitar estas propuestas en las facultades de Ingeniería, Informática, Arquitectura, Astronomía y Geofísica así como para la carrera de Ingeniería en Computación, dictada en forma conjunta por las facultades de Ingeniería e informática de la UNLP. </span></span><br /> </div>

El primer contacto con los alumnos se realiza por correo electrónico; allí reciben las instrucciones para acceder al Aula y aprender a utilizarla. Se comienza con una etapa de ambientación que incluye nociones básicas sobre la carrera. Cada curso dispone de una guía didáctica de actividades con un cronograma organizado de temas y fechas, donde se establecen los objetivos y plazos que se deben cumplir. Los docentes realizan tutorías virtuales teniendo a su cargo un grupo promedio de 20 alumnos.
