Dear Agustin,

the Graduate School of Physics of Paris-Saclay succeeded in obtaining 
from UE the funding of 41 post-doctoral positions. In the sub-field of 
high-energy and nuclear physics (theory and experiments), we will have 
15 positions opened.

Details and links are given at the end of this message. A few key points:
- these are very well paid positions, above French standards, and they 
include also travelling money.
- the applicants should have defended their PhD by the deadline, i.e. 
31/7/2025.
- the applicants should not have spent, during the last 3 years, more 
than one year in France.
- in case of success, the fellowship can start between early 2026 and ~ 
September 2026.

(PhD students or post-docs) who would be interested to join our QCD 
group at IJCLab, please advise them to contact me!

The Graduate School of Physics at Université Paris-Saclay, France, is 
launching a new postdoctoral fellowship programme: *UPSaclay-STAR-**φ*, 
supported by the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND programme, 2024 call.

🔬 The programme will recruit up to *41 international postdoctoral 
researchers* over two calls, for *24-month research projects* in one of 
the *40 laboratories* of the Graduate School, at the SOLEIL synchrotron, 
or at the French National Metrology Lab (LNE).


📅 *First call opens: May 1st, 2025*
📍 *Application deadline: July 31st, 2025*
🧪 *Expected start of fellowships: Early 2026 (flexible)*

Applicants will propose their own research project aligned with the 
School’s wide-ranging fields—from fundamental to applied physics.
