*Post-Doctoral Researcher – Quantum Computing & Non-Equilibrium
Many-Body Dynamics *

The Theory Team at IJCLab (Université Paris-Saclay, France)
invitesapplications for a two-year postdoctoral position under the
supervision
of Dr. Denis Lacroix. The successful candidate will develop andbenchmark
innovative quantum algorithms for interacting many-body
systems, comparing them with leading classical techniques
(e.g.,matrix-product states and our team’s phase-space approach). Research
will encompass both real- and imaginary-time methods to access
groundstates, excited states, and far-from-equilibrium dynamics, as well as
the study of entanglement via von Neumann entropy and measures
of“quantum magic.”

*Key Responsibilities:*
-Algorithm Design & Implementation: Create efficient quantum circuitsand
numerical prototypes, with pilot applications in nuclear physics,
neutrino dynamics, and condensed-matter systems.
-Entanglement Analysis: Develop and apply novel diagnostics to
trackentanglement growth and quantum resources.
-Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Coordinate activities within
thequantum-computing group, contribute to PhD projects, and co-supervise
Master’s internships.

*Candidate Profile:*
-PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or
relatedfields, with a strong background in quantum information or
many-body theory.
-Proficiency in scientific programming (Python, Julia, C++, etc.)
andexperience with tensor-network or phase-space methods.
-Excellent communication skills in English; French proficiency is a plus.

*Apply & Inquiries*:
If you have any questions, please contact
DenisLacroix (lacroix en ijclab.in2p3.fr).

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. We look forward toyour
contribution to cutting-edge quantum-many-body research
