Dear Jose Ramon
I am writing to announce the opening of a post-doctoral position at the
INFN National Laboratories in Frascati jointly with the three Rome
Universities (Sapienza, Tor Vergata, and Roma Tre).
The fellowship is dedicated to the seminal figure of Nicola Cabibbo. It
has a starting appointment for 2 years in Frascati and a possible
extension to a third year to be spent at one of the physics departments
of choice of the fellow (Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Roma Tre)
The salary is competitive. In addition Italy offers significant tax
breaks to people who move to Italy for academic and research jobs.
The application deadline is Nov 5th 2023. Applications must be sent via
the INFN portal. The call document containing all the information about
eligibility and application package is available on INFN job ads page.

possible third-yearextension at an INFN Unit in Rome (Rome, Tor Vergata
or Rome 3 Unit).The research interests of the LNF particle theory group
span colliderphysics (QCD and electroweak calculations, analytic
amplitudecomputations, heavy flavours, Monte Carlo generators, beyond
theStandard Model phenomenology), as well as astroparticle
physics(baryo/leptogenesis, dark sectors, neutrinos, axions). The theory
groupsat LNF and Rome are in close contact with the local LHC
experimentalcollaborations (ATLAS, CMS, LHCb, ALICE), groups working on
futurecolliders (HL/HE-LHC, FCC, ILC, muon collider), as well as
exploring themuon anomalous magnetic moment (g-2) and dark sectors
(PADME, QUAX, FLASH).The annual gross salary will be about 31,000 euros,
with a favourabletax-free regime.An additional installation grant of
about 5,000 euros per year will beawarded to fellows who have not been
resident or domiciled in the Romeprovince for the last three years.
