5-year Tenure track position for Assistant Professor under the "Región 
de Murcia
Atracción de Talento - Saavedra Fajardo" Program (a regional initiative 
akin to
the Ramón y Cajal Spanish national call).

Research Lines:
---------------
The esteemed FISPAC (Física de Partículas, Astrofísica y Cosmología) 
research
group at the University of Murcia is inviting tenure track applications. The
primary research lines are string theory, holography, supergravity, quantum
field theory, gravitation, and quantum information.

The FISPAC group boasts a competitive team, comprising 4 professors (José J.
Fernandez-Melgarejo, Javi Molina-Vilaplana (UPCT), K. Glampedakis, E.
Torrente-Lujan), 3 postdocs, numerous PhD students, and regularly hosts
international visitors. The group members have strong international 
links and
collaborations.

Research Budget:
----------------
EUR 125,000 during the 5-year contract.

Requirements
------------
* Ph.D. earned between 2011 and 2018 in theoretical physics, specifically on
the high-energy topics mentioned in the above research lines.
* At least two years of postdoctoral experience abroad with a demonstrated
history of high-impact research in the pertinent field.
* Currently residing abroad or having returned to Spain within the past 
year.


Salary Range:
-------------
EUR 35,000 during Years 1-2 and EUR 40,000 during Years 3-4-5, before taxes
(approx. EUR 2,300 monthly)
