     Our Centre, Centro de Fisica Teorica de Particulas (CFTP) of
Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal is
opening a fellowship competition for a postdoctoral position with the
expected duration of one year, starting on the 1st of October 2023. The
notice advertises three months with the possibility of extension if our
Funding Agency (FCT) provides the necessary funding for 2024. It happens
that FCT already told us that they will soon formalise the funding for
2024 and that they will allow the extension of the fellowships.

     Due to bureaucratic reasons we could only advertise this position
now. *The candidates must submit their applications within the period
from the 3rd of July to the 14th of July 2023. *The procedure is simple.
I am including the notice in English as attachment. The PhD certificate
must have a date prior to the 1st of October 2023. If the candidates did
not finish yet their PhD they should declare that they will finish
before starting the contract which must be the 1st of October 2023.

     The monthly maintenance allowance is 1 741,00 euros net. The
fellowship also reimburses  separately social security payments. Social
Security includes access to the Portuguese National Health Service.

     In the letter of motivation the candidates must describe their
research interests and should not forget to give at least the names of
two referees, that the jury may contact.

     We are sorry that this opening comes at such short notice.
