Asunto: [soft-matter] PhD Position at the University of Mainz, 
Theoretical Soft Matter Physics

Dear Colleagues,

 There is one PhD position available in the Soft Matter Theory Group of 
Arash Nikoubashman at the University of Mainz (Germany). The objective 
of this project is to model and understand the drying-induced assembly 
of NPs with interaction anisotropy and/or shape anisotropy into porous 
colloidal supraparticles. The project is jointly funded by the  Deutsche
Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and the National Science  Foundation (NSF),
and it will be conducted in close collaboration with  the theory group
of Michael Howard at Auburn University (USA). The  position can be
filled immediately.

 Applicants must
     - hold a master's degree with outstanding grades, or approach its 
completion, in physics or chemistry (or a closely related discipline)
     - have prior experience with molecular simulations
     - have excellent written and spoken English skills
