Dear colleagues,

there is an opening for an assistant professorship (`junior 
professorship') with tenure track to an associate professorship at 
Wuerzburg University, in the area of `quantum information and 
gravitation'. The application deadline is 30th June. The official

I would be grateful if you could bring this position to the attention of 
qualified candidates. Female candidates are particularly welcome.

Due to the fact thar this position is funded within a particular scheme 
of the German Federal government,  the date of the PhD viva of the 
successful candidate has to be less than four years ago at the time of 
taking up the position. We are therefore looking for a very motivated 
postdoc with potential leadership skills who has taken up their first 
postdoc recently (typically a year or two ago).

There will be interviews most likely in October of 2022 and the position 
will be offered some time in 2023. The successful candidate will be able 
to negotiate extra funds for PhD positions etc. The exact starting date 
also depends on the negotiation skills of the successful candidate.
