Les recuerdo que están todas/os invitadas/os al próximo seminario del Ciclo
de Coloquios y Seminarios 2022 del IFLP, el *martes 23 de agosto a las 14hs*
.

El mismo estará a cargo del Dr. Antonio Codino, de la Universidad de
Perugia y el INFN, quien disertará sobre ¨On the ubiquitous electrostatic
field which accelerates Galactic cosmic rays at all the energies ¨

La charla, resumen de la cual les hacemos llegar a continuación, se llevará
a cabo en inglés:

Recently it has been proposed the existence of an ubiquitous electrostatic
field  which accelerates Galactic cosmic rays at all the energies. In
several ways it is argued that the Galactic electrostatic field is the real
agent accelerating cosmic rays up to the maximum energies of 10 to 21 eV.
This mechanism supplants other notorius acceleration mechanisms which
disagree with plenty of experimental data. The empirical evidence of the
electrostatic acceleration are the spectral index of 2.67 and the chemical
composition of cosmic rays beyond the energy of 2.7 times 10 to 19 eV. The
motion of Galactic cosmic rays in the context of the electrostatic
acceleration consents to calculate, without free parameters, the intensity,
orientation and direction of the Galactic magnetic field. The computed
magnetic field is in excellent agreement with radio astronomy data which
are briefly discussed. It is finally highlighted that the Galactic magnetic
field with its unmistakable signature is the major empirical evidence of
the electrostatic field.
