Postdoc (2 yrs) Soft Matter Simulation in Tübingen, Germany

We announce an open postdoc position in the field of computational soft
matter modelling, associated to the group of Computational Nanoscience
/ Colloid Physics (Prof. Oettel, PD Schöpe).
The successful candidate is expected to conduct independent research in
broad relation to the experimental activities in nanoscience in
Tübingen (Interdisciplinary nanoBCP Lab).
Possible working areas include phase behavior and dynamic transistions
in systems of designed colloids (Schöpe group), collective behavior of
proteins (Schreiber/Zhang group), or coarse-grained modelling of motor
proteins (E. Schäffer group).

Qualifications and experience:
  * PhD in physics, biophysics or physical chemistry with a focus on
theory and modeling.
  * Strong background in theoretical soft matter and associated
simulation methods.
  * Knowledge of standard methods (Molecular Dynamics and Monte Carlo).

The position is for 2 years, salary according to the collective
agreement in public service (TV-L 13, initial stage depending on
experience). Applications from women and persons with disabilities are
particularly encouraged. Starting date is flexible (ideally between May
