IV REUNIÃO ARGENTINO-BRASILEIRA DE GRAVITAÇÃO, ASTROFÍSICA E COSMOLOGIA 

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA, 22 - 24 APRIL, 2020 

We are pleased to announce the IV Argentine-Brazilian Meeting on
Gravitation, Astrophysics and Cosmology (GrACo IV), to be held in Buenos
Aires, Argentina, from April 22 to 24, 2020. 

RATIONALE 

Research on Gravitation, Astrophysics, and Cosmology in Argentina and
Brazil has reached a substantial degree of development. The main goal of
the GrACo series of meetings is to stimulate and reinforce the
collaboration between these two well-established scientific communities
with the intention to undertake long-term joint research programs and to
continue fostering the current collaborations. 

The first meeting was held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, in October 2011;
the second meeting was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in April 2014;
the third meeting was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in April 2016. The
balance of participation between Brazilians and Argentinians are a proof
of the importance and the support from both scientific communities to
this series of meeting, encompassing a wide range of topics, that
offered a complete panorama of the research lines of both communities.
The organization of the fourth meeting of the GrACo series aims at
strengthening the links between both communities, to continue fostering
the effort for long-term collaborations, by fully involving a larger
number of researchers and students in the discussions. It would be
enough free time to encourage interaction and discussion between the
participants which are very welcome to present their current researchs. 

The meeting will include invited talk by well-known specialists on
topics of particular relevance and contributed talks, together with
contributed posters. The list of invited speakers is available at the

IMPORTANT DATES 

Registration will open from December 2nd, 2019 to February 29th, 2020.
The deadline for abstract submission will be March 15th, 2020. 

REGISTRATION FEE 

The registration fee is USD 50. For graduate students, the fee is USD
25. It should be paid before March 15th, 2020. The payment instructions
are explained in the website. 

A limited amount of funding will be available for supporting the
participation of students and doctoral fellows. To apply for these
funds, please send an e-mail to graco4 en iafe.uba.ar., before February
15th, 2020, briefly explaining (up to 200 words) your interest on the
meeting and the reasons for your request, please also attached your CV.
