Dear Diego, 

Hope everything is well. I am writing to ask for your help advertising a
the second edition of the Journeys for Theoretical physics school which
we are putting together here at ICTP-SAIFR in Sao Paulo from July 10-15
(ictp-saifr.org/journeys [1]). The first edition was a huge success and
we hope to do even better this year!  

The school is ​organized jointly by Perimeter Institute and ICTP-SAIFR
and is ​aimed at exceptional undergraduates in their last year from all
countries in Latin America. ​Local and travel expenses are available for
qualified students.​ 

​It would be great if you could forward this message to potential
participants and also to other researchers or staff you might know and
who would be able to advertise it further. The deadline for applications
is in a few weeks​ (April 28)​. 

At the end of the school​,​ we will have two ​physics exams (on
undergraduate material and also on the school topics)​ and the top
scorers will be announced​. We will post the exams online and repeat the
school every year (you can see the last ones there already), and hope
that this will become a valuable asset in identifying and bringing
together young talent in ​Latin America. If all goes well, this will
also help create valuable bounds amongst these​ young​ ​Latin American
students​,​ many of wh​om​ will hopefully become future theoretical​
physicists. ​It will be a very fun school.
