FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT.  

PLEASE SPREAD AMONG YOUR COLLEAGUES. 

The Humboldt Kolleg "Colloquium on Algebras and Representations -
Quantum 2016", will be held in the National University of Córdoba,
Argentina, from February 29 to March 4, 2016. The conference has the
support of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. The main goal of the
event is to strengthen the exchange and cooperation in topics related to
tensor categories, Hopf algebras, quantum groups, representation theory
of Lie groups and Lie algebras in general, both at a regional and
international level. 

 	* In the web page Quantum 16 [1] you can find a list of speakers and
more information on a related series of events since 1999.

 	* A poster session will be organized to allow young researchers and
postdocs to present their results to a wide audience. 

 	* Some grants to cover living expenses in Córdoba and travel grants
within Argentina will be given, depending on financial support. 

We invite all those willing to participate to fill in and submit the
registration form [2] before January 31, 2016.

PRIMER ANUNCIO. 

POR FAVOR DIFUNDIR. 

El Humboldt Kolleg "Coloquio de Álgebra y Representaciones - Quantum
2016", se realizará en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina,
entre el 29 de febrero y el 04 de marzo de 2016. El evento cuenta con el
apoyo del programa Humboldt Kollegs de la Fundación Alexander von
Humboldt. 

El objetivo principal de este coloquio es fortalecer el intercambio y la
cooperación regional, como asimismo con investigadores de Alemania, en
temas relacionados con las álgebras de Hopf, grupos cuánticos,
categorías tensoriales, teoría de representaciones de grupos y álgebras
de Lie en general. 

 	* Se puede encontrar una lista de conferencistas del coloquio y más
información sobre esta serie de eventos desde 1999 en el sitio web
Quantum 16 [3].

 	* Se realizará una sesión de pósteres destinada a que jóvenes
investigadores y postdocs presenten sus resultados. 

 	* Se prevé otorgar algunas ayudas económicas para cubrir gastos de
estadía y/o pasajes dentro de Argentina. 

Los interesados en participar del evento están invitados a completar y
enviar el formulario de inscripción [2] antes del 31 de enero de 2016.
